No Decoration – due to Floods
Led by Girish Kale the mandal is known for its huge and attractive displays during the Ganesh festival. However, this year the have avoided a display and have forwarded the funds to the help of flood affected people in the state. A donation has been extended to the flood affected people of Mahad in Raigad district. The six feet tall idol has a silver crown and a golden necklace. |
