Mythological story of Gajendra
Large than life replicas of an elephant, a crocodile and an eagle have been used to depict a mythological story of Gajendra. The fibreglass idols move mechanically to show how Gajendra, the king who is born as an elephant, is relieved by the Vishnu when a crocodile catches his leg and tries to pull him into the sea. Backed by narration the scene has been conceived by the president Vijay Aher. |
