Founded in 1982, the mandal is led by Nandkumar Chavan. The gods obtaining nectar through Sagar Manthan is the scene selected to display. It has idols of gods and demons stirring the sea to derive nectar. The display has eight idols of demons and gods with that of Ganesh standing four feet tall with silver ornaments. The mandal has extended financial help for flood relief. |
